Music 2010

Songs that I loved in 2010

VTV - Had Rahman's magic in every song, not his best though
Ek thi ladki - I love that kutti girl!
Aval appadi ondrum azhagillai - Aaha, amrutham! Amruthavarshini!
Shiela ki jawani - What's her name?
Uff teri ada - Might sound funny but this song is special for me since I saw this movie in the flight from Chennai to Brussels. Also, Deepika looks Gorgeous! :P
Idhu varai - Ajeeeeeesh :)
En jannal vandha kaatre - Reminds me of the last few times I went out with my friends
Usure pogudhe - The last movie I saw in Chennai
Enna kuraiyo from Mandhira punnagai - Do I even need a reason to like this song??? ;)

Goodbye 2010

Surprise!!!... 2010 was the year of surprises for me. It all began with the surprise visit to Rajesh’s house on New Year’s Eve. 15 years of friendship, long and strong. I met a lot of old friends on the first day of the year. Felt like a kid again, was reminded of the days we used to play treasure hunt in that BIG colony, our New Year’s Eve preparations, competitions, prizes, fun and not to forget, Food.
The first part of this year was my happy eighth semester. Seventh semester wasn’t a good time for me. In fact, I hated coming to college. Little did I expect to feel the opposite in the eighth semester. I was happy, if not always, at least most of the time. If I wasn’t happy, there was just one reason, just ONE. I had a few surprises during the course of the semester. Some of which were good, others were complicated!
End of a beautiful part of my life, college. Peak of surprises! Wo-ow! Some made me feel happy while some made me feel dumb. My friendship with a few doubled, tripled and quadrupled. I could identify my true friends who would stay by me, all the time. Some of them are in India, very few in the US, and I have 3 to 4 new ones in the list.
My biggest surprise of the year, I am in the US! Six years ago I wasn’t sure if I would be an engineer. And I’m pursuing my Masters degree now! I was doubtful about moving to the US for my Masters degree. If not for a few of my friends, I wouldn’t have been here now.
This surprise syndrome continued in the second half of the year too. Surprisingly, I talk to people in India more than I do to those in the country I live in. I cook pretty well! I am friends with someone I din think I would be friends with. I can stay without sleep for 2 days. I can sleep till 1:30 pm. Lot of self-realization surprises.
Right now, I want 2011 to be filled with surprises too! Sweet surprises though ;)

I think...

It is one of those days... Days when I spend hours thinking why I do certain things the way I do. Introspection. In fact, there have been times when I think why I think about all that I do! :D Crazy, I know. But unfortunately, I do it. And not even once have I got an answer that convinces me so much that I needn't think again. I just stop thinking once I have some other work for my brain. Its dangerous when I let my brain idle. Makes me go crazy! (I know, crazier is what is supposed to be there. But,, let me think about it ;) )
Thinking brings in confusion rather than clarity, trust me! Sometimes, it is better that our actions are impulsive. Impulsive, I am one, most of the times. When I'm not one, I'll be this confused oh-my-god character who worries too much.
Right now, I'm in non-impulsive mode. Oh-my-God! :'( I wish decisions had an undo button. Life would have been just Awesome! Sometimes small decisions change your life so much that you can never get back although you want to badly! I hate this! Grrr...
Now I'm wondering if I should post this. And the decision will be made, in a minute. And tada!!! You know my decision ;)
P.S. : I can undo this one! :P
